Solid Rocket Motors Separation

Capture of the separation of the solid rocket motors. The white spot in the center is the exhaust of the Shuttle's Main Engine which is going directly away from the viewer.
This separation occurs approximately 127 miles from the spot the photograph was taken (roughly the distance between Phila and Batimore!!)
I had no idea I had captured the separtion until a couple of weeks later when I was going thru the images and noticed a tiny white dot. When I viewed the image at 100% the separation was evident.
A 300mm Canon F4.0L lens was used with a 1.4x Converter which equals a 420mm lens.
Camera: Canon 20D, with only an 8 mega pixel sensor.
